Blue Chip Winter Show Jumping Championships once again raised the bar with more competitors than ever taking part at this year’s Championships.
A fantastic 2015 Blue Chip Winter Show Jumping Championships was delivered for riders, owners, families and spectators alike. With 45 competitions including 20 Championships which encompassed all levels of the sport for both Juniors and Seniorsthere really was something for everyone.
The Blue Chip Winter Show Jumping Championships journey starts with a quest to gain qualification and then the chance to compete in your Championship at this major UK Show Jumping event.

The Show Organisers are delighted to present a master class with International competitors William and Pippa Funnell during the Gala Performance on Friday 10 April. The master class starts at approximately 7.30pm and lasts about 40 minutes in which William and Pippa will be offering helpful tips when producing horses for competition.
We are delighted that the Championship Arena at the Blue Chip Winter Show Jumping Championships will be streamed live.

The Andrews Bowen surfaces which were installed in the summer of 2011 to both the outdoor Kingsland Equestrian Arena and the outdoor warm up arena for the Kingsland Equestrian Arena proved a major success at the 2012, 2013 & 2014 Blue Chip Championships.
The Show Organisers are delighted that all competition arenas and warm up arenas at the 2015 Blue Chip Championships will have Andrews Bowen surfaces.
The Kingsland Equestrian Junior Challenge provided a great competitive start to the Gala Performance with competitorsjumping against the clock followed by a challenging obstacle course on foot to the delight of spectators. This was followed by a master class with William & Pippa Funnell who delighted the audience by sharing many of their thoughts, skills and tactics when training horses and riders, specialising on how to achieve the balance of a horse through flatworkand using that a rider’s upper body to create balance.
The feature competition of the Gala Performance was the Blue Chip Grand Prix which had a field of over 50 competitors which saw 11 going forward to the jump off.
William Funnell was second to go with the first of his three rides Rio who jumped clear in a time of 36.42 holding the lead until the 10th to go Nigel Coupe and Golvers Hill took up the challenge and had clear round in 35.52.With William last to go with Billy Congo and went clear but just missed winning by half a second, but securing both second and third place.
Nigel said "there is always a great atmosphere at this show and with the enthusiasm of the spectators in the grandstand Golvers Hill really enjoyed it all especially the prizegiving and lap of honour".
